Welcome to Veloth: The City of Hope. A coastal desert city where wizards don't exist and arcane magic is outlawed. The Gods are fickle and grant favor only when you can grab their attention. Those who are born with magical ability are called Blooders and locked up in an island prison called The Block.

As a trade hub, Veloth attracts all manner of races from humanoid dwarves and z'moks to the more beastly gnolls and vasheryn. Forced to live next to each other racial tensions and prejudices abound. The Veloth Police department spends its time putting out fires between rival gangs competing for a piece of the vibrant Kush trade and keeping the peace in a city that can't seem to stay peaceful.

In Season 1 of YRA1 The Hall of Wonders has been robbed and a precious magical artifact "The Sapphire Rose" has gone missing. Now it's up to an unlikely band of misfit cops to find it.
